I officiated a wedding here. This is a great venue for a wedding. I grew up in Vermont, so I truly appreciate the history of this large farm house and its barn. The owners are wonderful people, warm, funny, smart and caring. I stayed overnight and slept like a baby. Breakfast was outstanding! It's a quick drive to charming downtown Brattleboro.

I attended a wedding at the Inn, and it was absolutely beautiful, both the ceremony on the front lawn and the reception in the barn out back. But the only downfall to the place was that the barn didn't have any sort of air flow. No ceiling fans, no windows, no air circulation, so the place for very hot and stuff very fast. Also, only one porta potty for all the guests, unless you walk down the hill to the front desk. A little inconvent, especially for the bride and wedding party. But overall, a very beautiful venue that I wouldn't mind going to again.

The Event Barn is one of a kind.
My rustic/vintage wedding felt like a fairytale. The inn is JUST BEAUTIFUL and so are the owners. Barn, lights, firelight, a ton of snow, great hosts, good food...our stay has been magical and memorable. Could not have picked a better 'something old'. Local restaurants, shops and people are warm, charming, colorful and filled with treasures and tasty meals and treats. The views here and surrounding are 'Hallmark'. Peaceful, quiet...we will definitely return.
